Lev Parasotsky, a student of the Southern Federal University (Institute of Computer Technologies and Information Security), participated in competitions as part of the Russian national team. Lev won the competition in the NW-72 kg section (full contact in protective equipment) and fulfilled the standard of an international master of sports.

The athlete also trains and competes as part of the SFedU sambo/judo team led by Murat Deberdeev.
